NJALS is part of a tri-level professional association composed of members employed in the legal field. It was chartered in 1959 by NALS...the association for legal professionals. It is also affiliated with NALS Region 2, which consists of members from the District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia. There are also local chapters throughout the state of New Jersey.

We hope you will find our organization as informative, exciting and welcoming online as it is in person. Our goals are to promote professionalism and continuing education within the legal community. We are a non-partisan, non-union, non-sectarian and non-profit organization.
